The Mission
Design and brand an immersive art space presented by Universal Music Canada, featuring visuals and performances by local visual artists and musicians.
The Approach
The brand’s visual identity was inspired by Art Deco hotels, presented in a fun modern style. It’s "The Funhouse", after all.
The website opened with an interactive archaic-but-magical elevator, which teleported visitors to sections for buying tickets, learning about the artists and musicians involved, and finding venue information.
The "falling down the rabbit hole" experience involved many moving parts, with our bellboy raccoon mascot guiding the visitor deeper into the journey.
Artworks by local artists completed the overall hotel theme and were used across all print, web, and promotional materials.
And since live events happened year-round: Different vibes for different seasons!
